Fire Warden Training AS 3745-2010
Price: $120 per person
Our nationally accredited Fire Warden Training course is based on the Australian Standard (Planning for Emergencies in Facilities) and is specifically designed to develop and maintain key skills for your fire wardens who will be required to safely evacuate people in your workplace. Training is conducted after a free 30 minute site visit to ascertain your existing evacuation systems, emergency control organisation structure, evacuation plans and evacuation diagrams. We prefer to work with you when developing your Fire Warden program therefore we will meet with your Chief Warden to discuss any issues relating to your current plan and to organise an evacuation exercise. Our trainers will:
- Gain an understanding of your existing evacuation procedures and emergency control organisation structure.
- Understand your site specific (Required under the new standard) evacuation system and fire equipment.
- Develop an understanding of your existing evacuation plan and diagram.
- Discus with your Chief Warden or Deputy Warden, any issues that have been identified which may have occurred through recent exercises or actual fire evacuation of your facility.
- Certificate of Participation.
Fire Alert have developed this 2.5 hour training program in conjunction with the site inspection and is suitable for small to medium business (maximum 15 trainees). The training will include:
- Training requirements,
- Investigating the fire, alarm, incident,
- Raising the alarm,
- Emergencies that may require evacuation,
- Bomb threat procedures,
- Building fire safety,
- Fire Warden identification
- Fire warden procedures and responsibilities,
- Building fire alarms and communication systems,
- Developing evacuation plans and procedures (Discus disability and PEEPS,)
- Post evacuation procedures.
Recommended:
- 1 hour practical evacuation session for Fire Wardens including feedback report (using your existing plan) $300.00.
- Our 2.5 hour nationally accredited live fire equipment training (With theory and practical assessment) is also recommended for wardens at only $120.00 per person.
- A Statement of Attainment will be presented to all participants completing the Fire Warden unit.
- A Statement of Attainment will be presented upon successful completion of the Portable fire equipment unit.
Note: Chief, Deputy and Communication wardens will require additional training on completion of these units (Chief Warden training)
Note: Regional training provided in areas such as Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Port Hedland or mining sites will require additional trainer fees that include:
