This is a unit of competency that is nationally endorsed with the Australian Quality Training Framework and relates to a discrete workplace requirement namely the use of workplace fire equipment. Many businesses such as those in the mining industry use this training to provide the necessary skills and theory to enable employees to safely use fire equipment. Aged Care and health facilties will require this training in order to evacuate quickly.The competency may be used simply as a way to use fire equipment safely or as a core unit for the Certificate II in Asset Maintenance (Fire protection equipment).[...]

Fire Warden Training

Our Fire Warden Training course is based on the Australian Standard (Planning for Emergencies in Facilities) and is specifically designed to develop and maintain key skills for your fire wardens who will be required to safely evacuate people in your workplace. Training is conducted after a free 30 minute site visit is completed to ascertain your existing evacuation systems, emergency control organization structure, evacuation plans and evacuation diagrams. We prefer to work with you when developing your Fire Warden program therefore we will meet with your Chief Warden to discuss any issues relating to your current plan and to organize an evacuation exercise.[...]
